Review: Yes or No (Thai Movie)

Summary~ **spoiler alert**




OK, well this movie is basically about love. Yes, very romantic ^^ It is (as I've heard) the first Thai lesbian movie. The two main characters are Kim (played by Tina Jittaleela) and Pie (played by Aom Sushar). Note: Kim is NOT a boy, she's a tomboy and the story talks about how the two teens fall in love.









Anyways, the movie was really sweet. It's about these two kids who have graduated high school and are on there way to college. There's Kim (on the left) and Pie (on the right). Pie meets Kim when she finds out the Kim is her room-mate. This starts out to be a disaster because Pie feels uncomfortable living with Kim because of her boyish characteristics. However, as the story continues, Pie slowly realizes that there was more to Kim than just "tom", that she was very kind and caring~ Slowly, they go from room-mates to friends and soon enough they realize that their friendship is more than just friendship but actual love~~~^^ 









I LOVED it~! Only one thing I was going to point out was that this is very much a teen movie. Adults would probably find it boring...lol. And it is not action-packed. So if you are looking for one of those fast-paced adventure films, you've found the wrong place. There was so much emotion in this movie, and I could tell that the director was trying to prove a point to us that love is love and we can't look down up people who are gay or lesbian--or LGBT's in general. That it is nothing to be ashamed of, to be different. That when you look at a tom, don't just see them as a "tom" but rather an individual with unique characteristics just like everyone else in the world.

This student in the blue shirt is my favorite character. They call him "le boy" lol. He's always hanging out with the girls and in the movie he's supposed to be gay, but that is vague because he's more of a minor character.
